Following our basic recipe, they created another soap with the scent of French lavender, silk fibers and bentonite clay, with wonderful emollient vegetable oils, butter and vitamin E. A soap of exceptional quality that will offer you safe shaving, hydration but also rich and rich.
Bentonite clay, intended for cosmetic use, comes from the treatment (dehydration) of volcanic ash. Contains more than 70 trace elements and used like all clays, to absorb toxins, impurities and heavy metals from the skin. It has the characteristic that when it comes in contact with water, an electric charge is created which "attracts and retains" the toxins and absorbs them like a sponge. Apart from this property in combination with the silk fibers it helps the blade to slip for a thank you and safe shave.
At the same time, lavender essential oil has antiseptic & soothing properties protecting the skin, while helping to relax with a sweet scent creating a unique feeling of calm.
How to create rich foam in two ways.
First of all, you need to soak your brush either by holding it under running, hot water (not boiling) or in a container full of hot water. Shake the brush a few times so that the excess water is expelled, soak the soap in the bowl with a small amount of water for a minute or two, drain it, and start rubbing the brush into the soap in a circular motion. When the brush is filled with soap transfer it to a separate, empty container and continue working the foam. Next, it's time to test the foam between your thumb and forefinger. If you feel it sticky you should add a few drops of water and continue mixing. Test it again and continue in this way until you do not feel the foam sticky between the fingers but soft, silky and dense. When you add water, you have to be careful, because if you overdo it you will understand that the foam will become sticky again. Wet your face and put the foam on your face using circular motions.
• Creating foam directly on your face:
The first steps are similar to the method described above. You need to soak your brush in warm water and then shake it to expel the excess water. Wet the soap well with water again to soften it and start rubbing the brush on the soap, as described above. Do not apply any pressure, it is not necessary. When the brush is full of soap it is time to move on to the next level. Wet your face and start creating the foam with circular movements, first on your cheeks. After a few seconds of circular movements on your face, you will have a nice and dense foam. If you accidentally overdo it with water, do not worry, put a little more soap on your brush, rubbing it back on the surface of the soap, and continue to work the foam on your face. If the foam is very sticky and thick, just add a few drops of water to your shaving brush and move on.
Whichever way you choose, make sure your brush is of good quality so that it does not irritate the skin of your face.
